In partnership with SubWork - web3 coworking space in nature, we will be beta testing NFT ticketing system based on holding various collections for particular addresses and allowing them to enter the space and book tables & meeting rooms.
Known as Proof of Attendance Protocol, are unique NFT (non-fungible token) badges given out to attendees of virtual and real-world events [1]. They serve as digital versions of event mementos such as ticket stubs or badges [2]. POAPs are created and distributed on the xDai sidechain and can be used to keep a record of experiences [1]. They have been given out at over 100 Ethereum community events and are also used by online crypto communities like SushiSwap and ShapeShift [1]. The number of POAPs in a user's wallet can be used to measure engagement and time spent in a community [1]. POAP collections can also function as decentralized identities, unlocking new possibilities for their use [1].

The NFT ticketing system has the potential to enhance various aspects of your community. Firstly, it serves as an effective gating mechanism to control access to your physical or virtual events. For instance, there was an airdrop or claims process prior to the event, only those who possess the relevant NFT holder can attend. This not only adds value to the community but also fosters a sense of community among the NFT holders.
Additionally, since this data is accessible on the blockchain, anyone has the ability to create a variety of applications that can expand the use cases related to the ownership of these POAP NFT Tickets. For example, owners of POAPs specific attributes can gain VIP privileges, such as special access to sponsors' booths or exclusive levels within the virtual event.
